W32/Perrun infector è un file JPEG. Quando un file JPEG W32/Perrun infetto viene eseguito, estrae un file denominato EXTRK.EXE . Si aggiunge codice del virus ad altri. JPEG file quando eseguito. Il virus apporta modifiche al Registro di sistema nella seguente posizione per eseguire il virus ogni volta che un file JPEG viene aperto.
